Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (April 22, 2023) – Injuries stemmed from a three-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Fort Oglethorpe officials, the accident happened on Battlefield Parkway around the area of Captain D’s at 2:30 p.m. Three vehicles were traveling on the highway in the area when they were involved in a collision with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Multiple parties were allegedly injured as a result of the collision. The parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could return to normal.
