Martinez, GA – Car Crash at Flowing Wells Rd & Wrightsboro Rd Intersection
Martinez, GA (December 2, 2021) – At 6:35 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 2, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Martinez.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Flowing Wells Road and Wrightsboro Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their identity and condition are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene so traffic could resume as normal.
