Tucker, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on US-78 Near Brockett Rd
Tucker, GA (November 26, 2021) – At 6:16 p.m. on the evening of Friday, November 26, a car accident with injuries occurred in Tucker.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of US-78 around the area of Brockett Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 29 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
